The Gold Nugget Mango is an undeservedly forgotten variety, first selected in the 1980s in Miami, FL. This low-vigour tree has a spreading growth habit and consistently produces heavy crops of fruit with good shelf life.
 
Taste: The flesh is orange, firm, and has a somewhat mild but good classic flavor. Nearly fiberless.
