Small Leaf Tea plants belong to Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, native to China. As the name suggests, the leaves are smaller, more delicate, and finer. They’re well-suited for producing high-quality green, white, and oolong teas with a milder, more aromatic flavor, often with floral or grassy notes.
 
Tea leaves contain vitamins C and B6, carotene, thiamine, and folic acid. They also contain potassium, manganese, and fluoride.
 
Small Leaf thrives in cooler, high-altitude regions with a temperate climate (Zones 7a-9).
