A grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) is a sweet orange and pomelo hybrid. The Oro Blanco Grapefruits are large, averaging 10 to 12 centimeters in diameter. Though the rind may appear green in early stages, the fruit is as sweet as when it turns yellow. This relatively new hybrid is prized for its juicy, sweet flesh, free from the bitterness typical of other grapefruit varieties.
 
Taste: The pale-yellow flesh is juicy, soft, and tender. Oro Blanco grapefruits have an aromatic, floral scent and a delicate, sweet flavor with no acidic or bitter aftertaste.
