Lychees, botanically classified as Litchi chinensis, are tropical fruits, originally from Southern China and Southeast Asia. They are also known as Alligator Strawberry for their red, scaly skin. The Sweetheart Lychee consistently produces large, heart-shaped fruits with smaller seeds. It is one of the sweetest and most aromatic varieties.
 
Taste: The flesh is tender and sweet with very low tartness, having a floral/rosy flavor.
