Nagami Kumquats (Fortunella margarita) are native to Asia. In China the fruits are used as gifts and decorations during the New Year. It is a compact variety that can be grown in small spaces and containers. The entire fruit is edible, including the skin, flesh and seeds.

 

Taste: The skin has a sweet taste while the flesh is acidic, creating a complex, spicy, and sweet-tart flavor.
