The Key Lime also known as Mexican lime. They are smaller than Persian limes, averaging 2 to 5 centimeters in diameter. Key limes are known for being aromatic and typically sweeter in taste, making them perfect for a refreshing pie. The tree is pest and disease resistant. When fully ripe, the fruits turn yellow.
