The Finger Lime (Citrus australasica) is originally from Australia. It is also known as a Caviar Lime. The fruits have finger-like shape and many round, tart and juicy vesicles inside. The tree has thorny branches and small, rounded leaves. It is pest and disease resistant. The Red Finger Lime has fruits with darker leathery skin that can range from purple, red, green-brown, to black. The taste of "caviar" is mild and sweeter, slightly acidic with floral flavor, having a color from pink to red.
