Black Sea Tea plants often associated with tea varieties cultivated in the Black Sea region (e.g., Turkey, Georgia). These may include hybrids or varieties adapted to the cooler Black Sea climate. Black Sea tea plants have larger leaves. These are better suited for producing black teas or robust blends - generally results in stronger, full-bodied teas, which are characteristic of the black teas from the region.

 

Tea leaves contain vitamins C and B6, carotene, thiamine, and folic acid. They also contain potassium, manganese, and fluoride.

 

Adapted to the humid and moderate climate of the Black Sea region, tolerating slightly different soil and weather conditions (Zones 7a-9).
