Custard apples, botanically classified as Annona reticulata, are tropical fruits belonging to the Annonaceae family. San Pablo Custard Apple fruits turn vibrant red when ripe, revealing sweet, creamy red pulp that surrounds a few large, easy-to-remove seeds.
